If you have a car, there is no excuse to not stay at Downhill Hostel. I really felt like I was staying in a B&B. The rooms were stellar and I really felt like I underpaid! The hostel owners are great- when the gas went out, they cooked all of our food (3 types of miscellaneous pasta and sauces mixed together for about 10 people) even though they had friends over for dinner! It’s near Giant’s Causeway, but not so much it’s overrun with tourists. Located on a beach that you have all to yourself, I don’t know a better place to relax.
